On March 13, 2021, my a cappella group Note to Self won first place in our ICCA Quarterfinal with this video, as well as multiple awards including Outstanding Videography. Our video advanced to the Central Region Semifinals on April 10 and won second place.
I worked with several members from my group on video concept, creative direction, and filming setup (as well as writing the a cappella arrangement and recording it). Then, fellow group member Liam Coen and I taught ourselves how to use Adobe Premiere Pro and edited the video.
This was an intense, creative, collaborative project that we are all proud to have and show the world. We are so humbled and excited to have created something that tells our story in a way that seems to resonate with others.
